Account & Data Deletion Request

Applies to Sadhana App (package com.yash.bhakti), a GlitGrace product

1. Introduction

If you'd like your Sadhana App account and the personal data linked to it to be deleted, you're in the right place. In line with Google Play's Data Safety requirements and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), we make this process simple — no in-app deletion flow needed, just a quick email.

2. How to request deletion

Send an email to support@glitgrace.in from the email address linked to your Sadhana App account, with the subject line "Account Deletion Request". Please include:

  • The Google account email you used to sign in to Sadhana App
  • Your name (optional, for our reference)
  • A note confirming you'd like your account and associated data permanently deleted

3. What gets deleted

Once your request is verified, we permanently delete:

  • Your account profile — name, email, and profile photo synced via Google Sign-In
  • Your saved preferences — selected deity, language, and onboarding choices
  • Your favourites, saved mantras, and japa mala round counts
  • Audio recordings you uploaded to the community Ringtone section, along with their attribution details
  • Wallpaper and alarm/reminder preferences
  • Any diagnostic or usage data tied to your account identifier

4. What we may retain

We may retain limited information for a short period where legally required, for example to comply with tax, accounting, or fraud-prevention obligations, or to resolve disputes. Any such data is kept only as long as necessary and is not used for any other purpose. Aggregated, anonymised analytics that can no longer be linked to you may also be retained.

5. Processing timeline

We aim to process deletion requests within 7 business days of verifying your identity via the email linked to your account. You'll receive a confirmation email once your account and data have been deleted.
